Death can be a grusome subject. Many people try to avoid talking about it. However, I say, why should we avoid talking about it? Are we trying to hide from it? Because if we are, it’s not working. Death will find us no matter if we talk about it or not.  Death is a natural part of the circle of life.

But what happens when we die? Catholics believe that you go to heavan or hell, depending on how you spent your life. Others believe that you just die, and that’s the end. Or, you could be reincarnated into another form, as the Buddhists believe. Personally, I don’t know, nor do I care. I just try to live life to the fullest, and not worry about what is going to happen to me when I leave the Earth.

My mother once told me that school was my job. Since I was eight at the time, I just accepted this and kept going with my life. But now that I know that people get paid for working, I’ve figured out that school is not my job because I don’t get paid. My history teacher is like “Well, you get paid with knowledge. And later in life, you can use that knowledge to get a job and earn money.” Yes, I understand that, but what about the present day? Christmas is coming up, and I need money to buy gifts. So am I supposed to go to the mall and say, “Hey, I don’t have any money, but can I pay you in knowledge?” Or, even better, I can pay them in, like, ten years. “Yeah, I finally used some knowledge to get a job and earn money, so here’s that twenty dollars I owe you from ten years ago.” Stores will send me to the loony bin with Mariah Carey and her forty suitcases!! Today, I really want to write something, but I can’t think of anything to say. They call this phenomena ”writer’s block” for some strange reason? I mean, why a block? Is there a little man inside your head pushing some ABC blocks in front of your head? Shouldn’t it be called “Writer’s Empty Head” or something? ‘Cuz  nothing is blocking you from thinking, you just don’t have anything in your head! 

My friend loves to write. She wrote a story in sixth grade. It wasn’t just any little dinky story, though. It took up two whole notebooks!! Now, three years later, she’s decided to type it up on the computer. As she reads it over, though, she’s realizing how much it really sucks! The story is about Star Wars (yes, I was a geek back in middle school), and so there’s this one part where two people are fighting with lightsabers. NAd one of them is laying on the ground, getting bitch-slapped by the other! I mean, it doesn’t say that she’s getting bitch-slapped, but it says “Liffy could feel the slaps of Darth Fabuevilous across her back.” (Don’t question the names, I didn’t make them up) It’s actually a pretty funny story if you read it.

Gotta finish up my homework….
